The new jerseys? Not bad at all if you ask me
Posted on Sep 04, 2007 under Canucks | Comments are offAfter what seemed like forever, the Canucks publicly displayed their new jerseys last week. Had I not been out of town, I would have posted on this before now, but, better late than never, right?

I have to admit that I like it. I know that there are a lot of people who don’t, and they’re certainly entitled to their opinion. But, it’s not as bad as the ‘V’ jerseys in the 80’s. A lot of people were complaining about having ‘Vancouver’ above the logo, and mentioned that “the Original Six teams believe in tradition and wouldn’t change their jerseys so dramatically”. Well, the Canucks are not an Original Six team. And it could have been a lot worse (hello, Buffalo slug).
So, it all comes down to some people love them, some hate them and some just say, “Meh.” It doesn’t really matter, anyway, as it’s what they do on the ice that matters, not the colours of the jersey.
People hated the Orca at first, too. Some still do. Get over it.
