There’s been no shortage of the speculation on the Canucks’ 3rd jersey which will be unveiled on November 15th in the game against the Maple Leafs, so I thought I’d add a little bit more.  I’d heard as early as last spring that it was probably going to incorporate the original stick-in-rink design, but came across this yesterday on J.J.’s Canucks Hockey Blog.

I’m going to admit to being a little slow here, but I didn’t realize that they altered the original logo, tilting the stick a bit.  Don’t like it.  Then this morning, I saw this one on Rebecca’s site, and I know most people are going to absolutely hate it, I think it’s pretty cool.  Just my opinion, though…

Overall, though, I think one of my favourites has to be the one that Buzz re-posted on his site this morning.  This one was rumoured to be something that Canucks had been considering, but I honestly don’t think that they’ll go with it, unfortunately.

No matter what the Canucks come up with, though, I’m sure there’ll be enough in there to annoy everyone in some fashion. Canucks jerseys never seem to be something that people can come to an agreement on. Myself, I kind of liked the old downhill skate third jersey (the one in red with the yellow numbers on the back). Maybe not for the regular jersey, but I thought it was pretty cool when it came out.

Feedback on this one would definitely be appreciated.
